Advanced Laser Vein Care, Selective penetration of 940 Dornier Topical Laser for Spider Vein Removal
This is a model demonstration of the Dornier 940 nm wavelength laser which is selectively tuned to maximally absorbed by the hemoglobin pigments and minimally absorbed by the skin. The white paper simulates the skin layer and the blue paper simulates the blue color of spider veins. The laser energy is able to pass through the paper with no visible effect and is absorbed by the blue color target which is heated and melts away.
